Privacy Policy

Effective Date: October 1, 2026  ·  Andrew Maxwell  ·  andrewgmaxwell123@gmail.com

🎲 Fifty is a game that uses play money only. Nothing in Fifty is real money: play money is free, has no cash value, can never be bought, cashed out, withdrawn, transferred, or traded, and there are no prizes. Fifty has no accounts, no ads, and no tracking.

1. About This Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Andrew Maxwell ("we," "us," or "our") handles information in the Fifty iOS app. Fifty is a social prediction game for adults (18 or older): friends form a group, open yes-or-no "markets" about things in their lives, and make picks with play money. Odds move as people pick, and the person who opens a market settles it.

2. Play Money, Not Real Money

We say this everywhere because it matters: Fifty does not involve real money in any way.

4. Who Can See It

Everything in a group (members' first names, markets, picks, and results) is visible to the members of that group. Group links are private and hard to guess; groups can't be searched or listed. A "secret" market is hidden from the person it's about on their phone until the market settles. Invite and market links open a web page that shows the group or market name and current odds to anyone who has the link.

5. People in Markets

Markets are often about real people in your group. Keep them friendly. The person a market is about can always see it (except a secret market, until it settles), can't make picks on it, and can take it down at any time, which refunds everyone's play money. Anyone can report a market or block the person who made it. To have a market about you removed, email us.

6. What We Don't Collect

7. Permissions

Fifty only asks for notification permission, and only after you open a market or make a pick. You can turn notifications off anytime in iOS Settings.

8. Retention and Deletion

Group data is kept while the group exists so your group's history and leaderboard keep working. Markets that are taken down are deleted right away. Sign out and reset (tap your avatar in the app) removes you from every group you're in, deletes your notification token, and erases Fifty's data from your phone. Your past picks stay in the group's history under your first name. To delete everything, including past picks, email andrewgmaxwell123@gmail.com with the subject "Data Deletion — Fifty" and your group's name. See also our Data Deletion page.

9. Service Providers

Fifty stores group data with Google Firebase (Realtime Database and Hosting) in the United States. Notifications are delivered through Apple Push Notification service. Fifty Pro purchases are processed by Apple; we never see your payment details.

10. Age Requirement

Fifty is only for people 18 and older. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor is using Fifty, contact us and we'll delete their data.

11. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your information. Email us and we'll help, usually within a few days. We don't sell personal information.

12. Security

Data is sent over encrypted connections. Our database rules block listing groups or markets, reject malformed data, and stop anyone from editing a market's question, creator, or result after the fact.

13. Changes to This Policy

If we change how Fifty handles information, we'll update this page and the effective date above.
