🗳️ Draftable requires no account, accesses no photos, and stores only minimal game data temporarily. All room data is automatically deleted after 3 hours.
This Privacy Policy describes how Andrew Maxwell ("we," "us," or "our") handles information in connection with the Draftable iOS app and its companion web poll feature. We are committed to minimal data collection and full transparency.
Draftable is a real-time multiplayer game. To enable live gameplay between players, we store the following data temporarily in Firebase Realtime Database:
| Data Type | What It Is | Retention |
|---|---|---|
| Player names | The display name you enter when creating or joining a room (e.g., "Andrew") | Deleted automatically after 3 hours |
| Draft picks | The text picks each player enters during the draft (e.g., "Michael Jordan") | Deleted automatically after 3 hours |
| Category | The draft category chosen by the room (e.g., "Greatest NBA Players") | Deleted automatically after 3 hours |
| Votes | Who each voter voted for, associated with the voter's self-entered name | Deleted automatically after 3 hours |
| Room code | A 4-letter code used to connect players to the same session | Deleted automatically after 3 hours |
All room data — including picks, votes, player names, and category — is stored under a unique room code and automatically purged after 3 hours. We do not archive or retain this data beyond that window.
After a draft is complete, the host can share a poll link. Anyone who receives this link can open it in a web browser to view the draft results and vote — no app download required.
The poll link encodes the draft data (player names, picks, category, and a unique poll ID) as URL parameters. This data is stored in Firebase and is the same data covered in Section 2 above. The link is readable by anyone who receives it — consider this when sharing.
When someone votes via the web poll, they enter a display name. This name is stored alongside their vote in Firebase and is visible to all players on the results page ("Who Voted for Who"). Voter names are subject to the same 3-hour automatic deletion.
Draftable uses Firebase Realtime Database (provided by Google) to sync game state between players in real time. Firebase processes data according to Google's Privacy Policy. All Firebase data is transmitted over encrypted (HTTPS/TLS) connections.
The Firebase project is located in the United States. By playing Draftable, you consent to your temporary game data being processed in the US.
We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes. Game data is shared only with:
Draftable is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided information through our app, contact us at support@timestampgames.com and we will take appropriate action.
All game data is automatically deleted after 3 hours. No action is required on your part. If you need data deleted immediately (e.g., a specific poll), email us at support@timestampgames.com with the poll ID and we will delete it manually. See our Data Deletion page for full instructions.
All data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS). Firebase access is controlled by security rules that restrict read/write access to valid room and poll IDs. We do not store passwords or sensitive personal information.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in an updated "Effective Date" at the top of this page. Continued use of Draftable after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
